  • What should I do if stains appear after use?
A: After polishing the entire board with a commercially available cutting board sharpener, apply salad oil evenly to the entire board, wrap it in plastic wrap and leave it for about 24 hours. Then remove the oil with detergent before use.
  • How do I care for it every day?
Apply dishwashing detergent to a sponge and wash the front, back and sides thoroughly, then wipe off any water and dry before storing. After handling oily or harsh ingredients, remove any dirt with dishwashing detergent as soon as possible. Oil stains may be noticeable when you first start using the product, but they will be easier to remove if you pour hot water over it, then apply cleanser to the non-woven fabric side (hard side) of a kitchen sponge and scrub. Do not use a dishwasher or dryer as it may cause deformation.
  • Can I use a dishwasher or dryer?
The cutting board is made of synthetic rubber, and when washed and dried, the board itself becomes soft due to high temperatures, and may warp if used diagonally.
  • What can I do about stubborn stains?
If the stain does not come off even after using kitchen bleach, it may be more effective to use detergent or cleanser in combination.
  • What if I am concerned about knife marks?
Rub the surface with water-resistant sandpaper (#100-200) while pouring water on it. If you rub the surface in the longitudinal direction, the sanding marks will be less noticeable. Polishing the entire surface will bring it closer to a new finish and also provide anti-slip properties.
  • I'm worried about the smell.
Soak it in a solution of 50ml of vinegar per 1L of water for about half a day, and once the odor has subsided, rinse it thoroughly with water, wipe off the water, and then dry it. Please rest assured that the odor will not transfer to the food. You can also use bleach.
  • The cutting board has warped.
Prepare boiling water. Place the curved cutting board on a flat surface so that it is convex (the center is floating), place a metal ball or bat on top of it, and pour hot water over it. Leave it in this state overnight until the hot water has completely cooled. Repeat this process several times depending on the degree of warping.
